Current Affairs Harry and Meghan Part 3: I can't think of a snappy subtitle

Tbf that Harry's become a bit of a wet wipe since he got with this American lass.

I had such high hopes for him when he was going out on the ale rattling anything that moved man, woman or beast but this Meghan deffo wears the trousers in their relationship.

Not sure if your serious or not but it takes so much strength to do what he did. So much easier to stay and obey the system

He deserved to be sacked for the way he shouts over people, including his co-presenter. He can often be somewhat effective but it's not worth the trade off. He's clearly a very arrogant, rude person. So if he were sacked for his behaviour over a consistent period of time, fine.

That said, being sacked for not automatically believing what someone says with little to no corroborating evidence is ridiculous IMO.

If people disagree with him, argue back and say why he's wrong. Debate him. But that doesn't happen anymore - instead it's a constant "cancel anyone who doesn't fit the narrative" routine.

You get sacked in most jobs for talking to female presenters the way he does.

Also, saying you don’t believe somebody was suicidal goes beyond the point of debate, especially when your employer runs its own mental health campaign and had one of their most famous stars commit suicide just over a year ago.

Piers Morgan actually said he did not believe a word she said, and in the context of Meghan speaking about her mental health is why he has walked. Piers Morgan is just behind complaints that were received about Jade Goody over comments she made about Shilpa Shetty on Celebrity Big Brother in 2007.

What about calling out a co-presenter for wearing a 'short skirt' and making her stand up and show it on air when she very clearly didn't want to?

he hasn't been sacked by the way, he's walked. He'll walk straight to GB news and take millions of viewers with him.

I didn't believe her about that either. It's an opinion, a valid one.

People lie all the time. I remember the maddest one was on Big Brother one year where some girl cried about getting hit by a fella in the house - a complete, total lie, but if no cameras were there she'd be automatically believed 100% in today's environment. It's dangerous.

Indeed.

Loads of reasons to sack him. Believing Meghan is a liar isn't one of them in my eyes. She's put herself out in public for critique - she has no automatic right to be believed solely because she's said something out loud.

He won’t take millions of viewers with him.

They’ll gains a lot of viewers including myself now his toxicity has gone.

Let him go to GB news. He’ll be hounded out of there soon enough when they realise he isn’t the right wing hero people think he is.

He’s just an incredibly, vacuous human being that bullies everyone around him who has never felt consequences for his actions.

Surely a ‘valid’ opinion is a proven one?
you can’t simply deem something valid
