The whole thing is making me laugh to be honest, both sides are just pathetic with their arguments.
The abuse she receives is undeniably racist and misogynistic, the establishment right-wing press can't stand the fact a mixed race woman with actual brains has took away their beloved party-boy prince. For years he was a tabloid favourite, a dopey but harmless royal who was always getting up to something naughty that was guaranteed to shift papers. Now he's gotten married and become a father and suddenly doesn't want reporters knowing every detail of their lives, how dare they!
On the other hand, their supporters are largely embarrassing as well. How are they going to become "financially independent" exactly? The only way they'll make money is by selling their privacy (the very thing they say they're trying to protect) through reality shows and interviews. Any offers for work they get now will come because of who they are, nothing else. They basically want to have their cake and eat it.
Let them go to Canada, I'd be delighted to never hear from them again and for the evil pigs in the media to spit with fury about it.

Like I said in the previous thread, I have absolutely no issues with him wanting to have a private life, move away with his wife or change directions.
His wife may be controlling or she may not. He might have profited from his family and now he'll use that to his advantage, or he may not. Let's wait and see.
However, the fact that he blind sided his ageing grandmother and forced her into a difficult position, whether his wife facilitated this or not, is what I'm uneasy with.

It’s ridiculous the racist card is being thrown into this. To say someone is being singled out by white people – and I assume you mean white people - because of the colour of their skin, is where the real racism is. The point being that white people must be racist right? It can’t be for any other reason. They can’t see past the colour of her skin? It’s not that she’s a gold digger or anything? It’s not that she was using this as a stepping stone to the big bucks in the good old U – S of A?
She would have received identical treatment by the media no matter what colour her skin was. She married into the royal family and thought she was bigger than it - She isn’t.
Research shows that stories run about Meghan are overwhelmingly negative, outweighing the positive press she receives by about 2:1, and most of that positivity that came around the month she married. Compare that to the morsels of negativity Kate gets and it is clear that the press is seeing some sort of difference between the two. I know you hate statistics, so maybe claim you've researched the geological records and back out of the argument

Not exclusively by the way because it’s a massive diversity of opinion and I’m hugely generalising but the connection between trump & Brexit supporters , climate change denial and dislike of Meghan on social media is quite the thing to see.

Prince Charles' (and Thatcher's) favourite Bishop who was a serial paedophile sex offender. It was revealed how Prince Charles wrote letters to him (post charges and his resignation) telling him he'd "see off the nasty people" who had brought him down...basically, the abused whistle blowers and members of the Gloucester Police.
I dont blame the ginger get and his bird concluding they want themselves and their kid out of the clutches of the jug headed, Saville-befriending, nonce.

Maybe the negative press outweighs the positive press because of something other than the colour of her skin. She is a gold digger. Kate isn't. People can see this.
