I'm not following this nearly closely enough to say for sure but I don't find it too far fetched to believe that the British press or certain elements of society might be racist.

I'd be absolutely shocked if some elements of society weren't racist.

Here's the thing though, I'm pretty sure that being racist in print is illegal. If there is something explicitly racist then sue.

I don't think the press have been racist with Meghan, i think they don't genuinely don't like her because she doesn't conform to the expected behaviours they wanted from a member of the Royal family.

Most racism isn't explicit nowadays. I'm not getting into this conversation over this, because I don't know enough, but if we are acting like her race isn't a factor here we are being naive about how the world works.
