The argument remains we should have left him at Preston where he’d be playing more.

Friendly wager on how many starts he gets the rest of the season? 10 games left, set the over under wherever you’re comfortable and I’ll take the under.

I think @TheBigIguana may have a point here. Harrison would have spent the season getting games under his belt if not for Afcon and injuries. His return was definitely about the short term of putting bodies on the pitch.

Look at how much Branthwaite benefited from a full season on loan in the Netherlands.

If there had been no reason to recall him, than he should have played it out.
But the time he got there was enough, to the point he walked straight into our team.
He's still getting plenty of minutes in a much higher league and players on his wavelength.

If this had been put out to us at the beginning of the season, everyone would have been very happy to take it.

The lad will have had a full season in 2 different leagues and 2 different squads, finishing it with his club..

Just see how it plays out, other than gametime though, Preston aren't good for anyone's progress.
Watching them put me back years of progress..

Is he better off playing sub minutes on the wing in the premier league or starting at his actual position in the championship? Can see both sides here.
