Playing him on the wing is as ridiculous as playing o brien RB

He did the same with Rooney when he broke through

Anything could happen and he might not break through (even though he kinda already has), but there’s far more evidence to suggest he will make it than that he won’t.

I think for a young lad he's done really well. We were probably saying the same things about Tom Davies though so can't get carried away.

Tom wasn’t the biggest and 4 yrs later looked like he’d never done a day in the gym. Which is fine if that’s what he wants to do. Armstrong is a much bigger lad than Tom. Not the be all and end all, but certainly helps in the modern game

He’s tall enough to play right back…Apparently it’s all good experience to play him everywhere except in the position where he’s most comfortable.
