His little scooped pass through at 4:18 and the outside of the boot flick through (much harder to see unless you slow it down) at 5:45 are proper clever number 10 passes.

As soon as I saw that in real time, I thought ‘that wasn’t Armstrong was it?!’ Skipped back, realised it was, decided he’s going to captain us to silverware.

The lad was desperate to play football. Waldron pushed for the loan because he knew Moyes wouldn't give him a look in. He'll be going back to Preston unless we get some injuries I think. Man Utd are already sniffing around him and offered £20m in December. If we want to progress as a club and bring young players into the first team, then Moyes needs to be replaced.

Probably nothing to play for this season...keep Armstrong and give him plenty of minutes in the second half of the season in the pl. There is no value in sending him back to the championship That way he could really be a big player for us next season.
