Yeah not just him, the whole midfield completely bypassed time and time again
….dreadful first half performance from Derby, especially given the importance of the game. Largely passing Armstrong by but I think it’d suit him more if Derby looked after the ball and had a bit of possession.

He’s out the game entirely off the ball though so far.
Not sure what that set up is supposed to be by Derby, absolutely abysmal 1st half where no one seems to know their job.

…better 2nd half from Armstrong, he’s the one who wants to put his foot on the ball and play. I can see why he gets the game time, they look a poor team on this display.

"I'll assess that in pre-season. I'll bring him back in, hopefully he'll get some playing time in the games in pre-season and we'll see how he does – and decide then if we think he needs another loan, or if we need to keep him.
"But we like him. It's not as if we're going to sell him or anything like that – we like him and we want him around but, again, we might look at it and think about him getting another 30-40 games. To get a young player games in the Championship is not as easy as you think because it's a tough league and it's credit to him that he's gone in there and got himself a steady position."

Same here. He was head and shoulders above anyone on that pitch in the second half. I don’t care who we sign, he should be in the squad next season - if he is, he’ll be first choice within months. Some players just have it, don’t they?

Was a bit loose with a few of his first touches and first time passes but the only.player on the pitch who tried to get to the ball and played some lovely inside forward passes, dire game of football though and can see why both teams are down there
