Oh, I was listening for the naked wrestling and butt stuff mate.

Well, to put it bluntly, the first Olympics ever was basically just two naked Greek men wrestling in the wilderness on the outskirts of Athens some 3,000 odd years ago.
And the butt stuff? Well, let’s just say Ancient Greece and sodomy go hand in hand the same way that Everton and bottling it do…

Well, basically carrying the same calf over your shoulders up a hill everyday until it becomes a full sized bull.

That’s how resistance training works anyway, I suppose, but I thought it would be a nice change of pace to try it with livestock, instead of boring old dumb and barbells…
But that’s how the big boys do it, anyhow.

Oh yeah… He also destroyed all the nerve endings in his legs chasing powerlifting records.

He’s basically a cripple now, but when asked would he do it the same way all over again, he replied:

cant get that big without gear. so nerve damaged, wheelchair bound, long term steroid abuse problems. gonna be a sorry retirement.

Oh yeah, 5’11” and 130Kg when competing… If that’s natural, then I’m the king of Denmark!

It pretty much is a sorry retirement. There’s a recent video of him and Arnold at the gym somewhere, and Arnies spotting him while he’s doing bicep reps. He’s lifting baby weights, and Arnies trying to pep him up, but you can just see the look of pity on Arnies face, almost as if to say: ‘Look how the mighty have fallen.’
