If the snake went to Chelsea as planned for 40m, he would have cost net 5m to replace. I'd have been happy with that. Never worth 45m, but his ace and sort of player that can help us get to the next level.

Too good for us, hopefully he realises he won’t be bombed out like at spurs and he’s got seasons to bed in. He can easily be our best player!

Sigurdsson's miss cost us the 3 pts. He played well though. Burnley with their perpetual high crosses and perfect corners to big players were beyond the ability of our centre backs. Nobody on the bench would improve things either. Could have won it but we lost.

Looked good today when he was given the opportunity to get on the ball. Everything should be going to him and let him run the show and distribute

Needs to build the game around him,and give him the ball much more!

Was quality first half but doesn't offer anything when we're under the cosh, unsurprisingly. Feels like a bit of a luxury in that respect but the real issue is that our centre midfielders don't offer the defence a lot of protection and aren't good passers either. In a team with a functioning DM/CM partnership he would surely be a great option at number 10.
