Not terrible today but not good either. Davies outshone him.
Last I heard of him he’d converted Sigurdsson to a defensive midfielder on Twitter and was using stats to say he was a better DM than Gueye. No joke.

If he put todays performance in as a 21 year old player, we'd all say Davies looked the better prospect but would be hoping we could merge them into 1 player.
Hes not 21 though, hes 30 and on a massive salary.
@Eggs I felt a couple if times when he won the ball back he was very lucky that their players seemed to turn back into him. The rest of the time he put the effort in but seemed off the pace to me.
Did ok...like a 5 or 6 out of 10.
Davies for me was positionally sound which bearing in mind he was in a 6 position where hes done well for England u21s is encouraging.

I think this is exactly the problem though mate, he is more than decent, he just doesn't show it enough.
