Group D: England, Croatia, Scotland, Czech Republic

On paper we have a really exciting team, I hope they're unleashed. I want to see Grealish, Foden and Mount attacking Kane scoring. Hopefully we can have a good tournament.
 
Didn't realise it will be Portugal, Germany or (less likely) France in the last 16 if England top their group.

You'd rather let Croatia take that hit, finish second and draw the 2nd finisher in group E: probably Poland or Sweden. Though your quarter final tie would almost certainly be France.

I think if my very quick predictions are correct, the path to the final assuming winning group D would likely be Portugal/Germany, then Spain, then Belgium, then France in the final.

Hopefully learnt lesson from Russia, no easy games, just go out to win each game. No certainties in football, lose to Croatia, freak result against Scotland and we are out.

Yeah we just have to suck up the bad draw and accept we won’t be favourites to get past the last 16 or QFs this time around. Upsets are always possible but unlikely we’ll beat France

I think they’d hit them at The QF stage anyway.

With everything looking as strong as it is (I think 6-7 sides could easily win the tournament), they will eventuallly have to play them.

But they’re potentially looking down the barrel at France (assuming Germany win the group), Spain, Netherlands/Portugal and then Belgium, and if they win the Euros, having faced all those teams, then fair play, absolutely fair play.
 
Looks like it’s going to be Kane, Dom and Watkins as England’s main 3 strikers with Sterling and Rashford as supports

The Euros would appear much harder to win than the world cup. :eek:

Yeah he looks top draw. I'd still take both him and taa over Walker and Trippier.

Sterling is awful, I wouldn't have him near the squad and why is Henderson there? He hasn't played in ages so isn't exactly going to be fit.
