I think England end up with Denmark/Mexico in QF.

Another “fortunate” break, as I think Denmark beat France in the Group.

Yeah if England win their group (far from a guarantee IMO) and France don’t win theirs then I could imagine England getting to the semis or final even.

Benzema now out the cup, so the 3/1 I got on Denmark to win the group seems very, very decent.

Don’t think England are very good. But if they win the group, they should be too strong for Senegal, Ecuador or Qatar. Then Denmark, Poland or Mexico could be a lot more even.

Lots of really tight games.

I don’t think it’s a given that England win the group, nor do I expect the same if they play Denmark.

Denmark have done France home and away this year, had a very, very strong qualifying campaign, only losing to Scotland once they’d won the group.

Think it’s a better option than France for sure, but still a very tough opponent.

Going back quite a bit but an old friend of mine was evacuated during the 2nd, World War with a Welsh family and he told me he prayed every night for Germany to win the war and come and free him from that Welsh slave masters of a family.

Me too, noting Iran is the cradle of civilisation, the others countries arguably have a bit more panache.
