As a non local I don't feel I'm qualified to answer this.

For that reason I'm out.

Doesn't matter if you local or not mate, your an Evertonian and the fact that some would want a groundshare makes me fume, its as if to say, lets forget the last 120years and jump into bed with the devil so we have money

I guess so. I mainly don't want a groundshare as you just know they'd get the best of it somehow.

I don't really want a groundshare, but having two stadiums so close together is plain dumb.

Why is it, it's worked out ok for the last 120 years, we even had home games once upon a time ON THE SAME DAY, who'd of thought??

I just think building two new stadiums (or even one and leaving the other existing) is a giant waste of money and urban space. The practical side of me just can't get over that.

Go on then go and share a stadium with the sh8te, dear me, i need to swerve online Evertonians i think.

Manchester United, old ground in the 60s/70s/80s - they redeveloped, one of the biggest clubs in the world.

I know Sky and modern day football want you to believe that a brand spanking soulless dome will make us return to the elite, but it wouldn't.

Stuff identity and history that made us Everton lads, let's just share with them and become their feeder club, Liverpool 2, or Merseyside FC so we have a bit of money in transfer windows.

United built a stadium that could be redeveloped, superbly designed.

It's been.debated.for years on here about redevelopment..You either agree or disagree it can be done.

Two big problems is that it won't happen with this current board...and it could happen with a owner with time and money in it for the long haul because it'll take decades imo to change.

In my view, a modernising of both grounds would have massive impact, LFC have already stated their redevelopment of Anfield would include and a regeneration of the areas surrounding, if we actually went with it, we could do the same for Walton. Why does that matter you may say? Well it would be the next step in Liverpool's regeneration and the extension from the city centre. A regenerated Walton, Breckfield, Fairfield etc, would attract investment to the area, and it's football clubs, with a link to the city centre which is a few miles away.

Both clubs would keep their identity, remain at their homes and I would suggest not have to spend nearly as much as they would on a new ground, my thoughts, if there are holes to be picked, please pick them and educate me, I just feel this would be the best way to go

Its the emotive side of both sets of fans that'll mean this will never happen, however practical it may seem

You could say the same with one big stadium, as it would please the council that would have one big focal point to attract business and redevelopment to certain areas.

The council already use the RS as their main focus to attract attention to the city, we come secondary to that.

And a redevelopment of both grounds would take up a massive amount of resources to serve both clubs to attract massive changes to the surrounding areas, to make sure it all was worthwhile.

Would never be done under our board.

Ideally we could do with the Man City route. Blag the LCC into hosting the Commonwealth Games and getting a nice shiny new stadium out of it.

However we all know that even if this was likely, the LCC would have the R's in there in a hearbeat

For me it would be a truly horrible day if it ever came about that we would have to share a stadium with them , no thanks .
