right were shall we start Bizzaro, you quote the USA being the the EU biggest customer have you factored in how much of that is with the UK directly NO? leaves us as the biggest customer it was by about 6 billion figure last time i looked.
The highlighted text on Greece joining the union in 1975, is complete rubbish look up Greek growth up until it joined, it followed a protectionist economic model and was doing quite well compared to other euro counties.
Poland has a GDP of 65% of the euro average, has lost nearly two million of its citizens, and has seen its economy shift towards a service industry call centers ect that will move as soon as it becomes cheaper else were , hardly a powerhouse to compare with Germany or are we to expect a rush back home anytime soon from were ever they have settled or have i missed something a shortage of plumbers in London perhaps .
If ultra socialist is giving a toss about other people other than the rich fine , count me in so i am now a ukip/ ultra socialist, why not throw national in front and i can cover all the bases

They will just ignore it mate. You know it. In their own special "democratic" kind of way though.

'They' being the Euro Commission? I cant see that if there's a confirmation of the Greek Government stance. The French have already said they'd make it their policy to keep others forcing the Greeks out of the Eurozone and other creditor institutions like the IMF are now on board with ebt write off.

The ECB and the Germans are going to be isolated and in disarray. If this result goes NO's way this will be a massive blow for austerity on the continent.

I didn't read a bit of that, but liked it just for it's sheer size.
sorry mate wont happen again, its like trying to have a conversation with a wiki automation that just spews links out,I should know better bizzaro is like the forum version of the old phone line clubcall he tries to make out it he knows something nobody else does but in reality it just rehashes old stuff from elsewhere and palms it off as his own leaving you feeling daft for even going there and wasting time listening.
with that i am out of here till the result.

Yep. When I say "ignore in their special way", I mean they will kind of accept it, water stuff down, generally play the game, when in actuality little will really change. The Greeks are going to pay for their role in the Euro somehow, because the political dogma behind it wont have it any other way.

I'm as cynical as they come, but this feels like a watershed moment to me.

If early results pan out then that's a massive boost not only for the Greeks and other anti-austerity campaigns around Europe (which will be translated into political capital soon in Spain I'd imagine), it's also a vindication of institutions like the IMF and the US Government that the EU need to take the knife from the throats of Greece and start to prepare for a climbdown.

The climate has shifted decisively if this result is anything like it currently stands at.

Early indications of 60% "No" vote

Will be very interesting to see how they, (EU etc) play it out in the next few months. Their beloved dream is unravelling, and they will not let it. Not a chance.
