Does anyone else think smackdown could do with being re-branded? Its always been treated like the "b show" but there was a period from mid 2003 to early 05 were it was much MUCH better then raw. I don't understand why wwe can't see the potential to have Raw with Super Cena for the kids and a smackdown (called somthing else) for your older fan base. Ten years ago I'd of sujested a wcw brand but that ship has long sailed. So what do you think? Does smackdown need a shake up or is it fine as it is?
I think that's a good idea actually.
To be fair, they kind of do that already with NXT.
Would love them to do it on a grander scale with Smackdown though
Back in 2002 when Heyman was booking it, Smackdown may have been the greatest wrestling television show ever
Excellent wrestling from the "Smackdown Six" (Kurt ANgle, Mysterio, Edge, Eddie, Benoit and Chavo)
Crusierweights with personalities getting pushed (Jamie Noble, Tajiri, Matt Hardy)
Brock Lesnar killing folk
Great time to be a wrestling fan!
