GOT Wrestle Fest Fan Thread

Her brother seemed to have potential but couldn't get in shape, WWE and TNA both said no because of he was overweight.

Is her brother The Zebra Kid?

If so, he has had fair bit of trouble away from the ring. Deliberately broke someone's leg in a amateur football game I think.

The Steiner Brothers were epic, yes. His last great match as i recall was against Petey Williams. He did a LOT of great moves there. Frankensteiner, Steiner Driver etc.. Great seeing a childhood hero still showing some greatness. Imo he's did okay in TNA. In WWE I've seen him do quite some botches though.

Stevo27, I don't buy the argument that Hogen, Nash, Hall and Goldburg ect had contracts AOL. If I had a garreted contract I'd of took the cash to. Why couldn't Vince and the wwe of waited? The monday night wars had gone on for years so what would another two years ment? They should of brought everyone in together and named a p-p-v the "Super-Brawl". It prob would of been the most highest rated p-p-v in history. Plus michels and triple h would of been back by then. They could of prob even got sting if he'd of known that the invasion angle was the real deal. Oh well, such a waste!

Fair point mate, although with Sting he's said many a time that he didn't like the direction WWE were going hence why he never made the jump. Do think he will be in the Hall of Fame and have a DVD/Bluray release once he's finally done with TNA though which would be richly deserved as he was the one who got me into WCW as a kid the same way Hogan got me into WWE and wrestling as a whole

I hope not mate, it may seem selfish but I look at Sting as the only guy who never gave in to Vince and the mighty £ or $ sign. I've got more respect for him then anyone else in the biz. Eveyone else (including Bret Hart for god sake! I know that Hart never went back for the cash) caved into Vince in the end and it must be killing him that he never brought Sting in. Sting don't need the wwe hall of fame in my opinion. For me its a joke anyway, when you have Mike Tayson and Drew Carey in there it ceases to have the meaning it used to. Wwe bang on about giveing the wcw world title to David Arcette but to me putting Drew Carey into the hall of fame is even worse,I can't think of anything more disrespectful to the guys who made wwe/wrestling. All that being said though I'd love a dvd collection of his best matches.

Another reason the hall of fame is a joke is that Randy Savage isn't in it. Until he's there its not credible to me. Does anyone know the reason he's not in it yet? Don't give me that silly rumor about him and Stephnie because that's just conspiracy nuts having a field day and won't let it die!

Some classic Raw for ya'll

This one has the original "This is your Life" segment with The Rock and Mick Foley

I'd totally forgotten about the silly "referees are on strike" storyline. KOFF Vince Russo

Supposedly the reason is that his family refuse to allow him to be inducted unless the whole Poffo family are inducted together which was apparently Randy's wish.

I've heard that. Think it was an interview with Lanny Poffo, who wrestled and managed as The Genius.

Roddy Piper once speculated that the bad blood towards Macho Man from Vince McMahon could only be because he hit him. Whether that was a hint, a guess or a wrestler 'working' to get his name bandied about who knows.

Its a weird one with Savage. Obviously the Stephanie thing was complete bollocks but pretty much no one in wrestling holds a grudge when they can make money so its odd that Savage never went back to WWE in any way.

I think when he left in 93 it was because Vince wanted him on commentary full time but Savage wanted to keep wrestling so took a deal with WCW but pissed off Vine with the way he done it, think he said he was gonna stay but jumped anyway.

Even if Vince was really pissed off he wouldn't hold the grudge with Savage for long, espeically when there was money to be made from a return. I'd then have to assume it was all on Savage that he never came back.

Vince is all about the cash so it must be somthing awful for him not to use Savage as a cash spinner. Anyone else watching TNA on bravo, 9pm on sunday? Its normally so bad that I feel better about raw the next night!
