Some leg drop that!

Does anyone know if they'll do another series of Tough Enough?

I surprisingly found it very entertaining. Even if they chose the wrong winner quite horrendously.

Remember Maven who won the first though enough? Put Undertaker out of the 2002 royal rumble and beat Taker for the Hardcore championship. I think he had a little run in late 2004 to early 05 but I don't remember anything about it. Wonder what happened to him?

I vaguely remember reading that he had found himself in trouble with the law, due to prescription medicine addiction. About a year ago.

No chance at the moment. USA Network declined to commission a new series. Been 2 years since the last one.

Trivia note: Austin Aries was actually turned down by WWE for that show.

The only person left from that show that's still under WWE contract is Cameron, one of Brodus Clay's dancers and the first person eliminated from the show because she was a horrible wrestler. Funny how life turns out.

He was released by WWE in 2005. Went on to become a Home Shopping Channel presenter selling stuff.

He was arrested last year for prescription forgery and entered a WWE-sponsored rehab place for a painkiller addiction.

On the Invasion storyline, It could have been saved if these two things had happened. 1) Hogan, Steiner, Goldberg, Nash etc didn't sit on their fat AOL contracts and took the WWE deal a year or two before they did and 2) Giving the first WCW title shot under WWE ownership to ****ing Buff Bagwell. They could have easily signed Steiner and done the rematch from the final Nitro and gone on from there

Supposedly they had big plans for Bagwell, and he blew it in less than a month because of his attitude.

Can't say I blame those wrestlers for sitting on their contracts, it hurt the storyline but not as much as WWE's booking. Those wrestlers (barring Hogan) lost momentum not coming in then. Though I believe Steiner had issues with a leg injury.

The WCW/ECW/Alliance members should have run roughshod over WWE performers for at least six months to get them over. Of course that may have made them appear 'better' than WWE performers (in managements eyes). Gigantic egos didn't help either. I suppose it was lucky HHH was injured, he would've single-handedly beat the Alliance in a night.

Yeah Steiner was suffering from Clubfoot at the time he came in, hence why the matches against Triple H at the Rumble and No Way Out were god awful

Anyone here watching NXT on a regular basis?

I love this silly gimmick they're doing with "Emma". Essentially, she's a clumsy Aussie who does a silly dance. That's about it really. I quite like it. She seems to be able to laugh at herself and she isn't a bad wrestler either. She's not good mind, but she certainly isn't bad

I doubt the gimmick will ever make it to the main shows, but I'm enjoying it.
