Oddly enough I watch WCW Fall Brawl 1996 for the first time about a fortnight ago.

It was a pretty good show - The Giant vs. Randy Savage was good despite that review, Juve vs. Konan started off well but went on too long and Konan ruined it, Juve did some amazing stuff but became less sloppy after he lost his mask.

I really like the Calo/Mysterio match from that show. Rey's 'Rana at the end is fabulous stuff!

Yes the Shield lost, but who looked stronger coming off it? That's right the Shield who will now be odds on favourites to take both the US and Tag Titles on Sunday

Exactly, the fact they lost the match is a meaningless statistic, what's important in wrestling is who is left standing at the end of proceedings.

Austin Aries in trouble for the following incident

I like Austin Aries but he's an idiot if he thought he could get away with that when he works for a nationally televised company, run by a woman no less!

You can say he was keeping in character, but he went too far I think

It's not that bad. And Hemme ballsed up. Silly bint.

I really liked Super Calo, he and Rey had another match on Nitro a few weeks later and that was very good as well.

No excuse for what Austin Aries did. After considering retirement his career really took off last year. Bet Lacey ain't to happy!

Raw was awful! Not supprised though, typical wwe to pull the rug from under anyone who is gaining momentum. Vince Russo would be proud of the amount swerves and false finishes they used. Not one positive thing to say about the show this week.

The only thing I like about the wwe product just now (cm punk excluded) is the fact that they are using tag teams again. I used to love real tag team wrestling (not just two guys with nothing better to do, thrown together). Must say though that Bryan is wasted with his current role as funny as it may be to some.

Right chaps.

I never thought I'd ever say this.

But i'm going to give TNA a go. WWE has me badly disillusioned at the moment.

I have an Impact sky+'d and ready to watch.

A few things to help me out:

- How on earth id Bubba Ray Dudley their champ? He is woeful. Especially in singles. Isn't he?

- Aces and 8's. What do I need to know here?

- What exactly is Hogan's role and how often does he appear?

- Is AJ Styles still as phenomenal as when I gave TNA a chance a few years back?

last one:

- Any names I should defo look out for?

Thanks chaps.

Ijjysmith, ok here's the deal with tna. Bubba ray aka Bully ray is the champ just beacuse he can make just about anyone hate his guts like hell. Really he's the only heel that keeps me like a kid wanting the good guy to kick his ass. He's got better in singles action (not much though). Hulk Hogen is the "general manger" type figure and appers far to often in most shows. A J Styles is just as phenomenel as ever but not used well at all. Hulk's daugher Brooke is stinking up the show with her awful acting! Keep an eye out for Chavo Guerrero his match's tend to be very good. Don't get your hopes up though cos tna are still as hit and miss as they've ever been.
