GOT Wrestle Fest Fan Thread

Damn it ijjy, why did you post that? The only time I've ever genuinely cried over a wrestler's death, just a sick feeling thinking back to that Monday morning and logging on to 411mania to read the taping results from the night before (can't remember the reasons why the were taping on a Sunday) and seeing the awful news as the lead story on the homepage. I have the Benoit free edits of both tribute shows on DVD that came as a bonus disc on the second Eddie DVD and they are hard to watch

I cried too mate. He was my hero at the time

That card isn't good enough for me.

I'll still watch it though because i'm an idiot.

If you were in charge, what would your Wrestlemania card line up be? Looking at it, they have got the 'best' of the current crop and dusted a few down out of the wardrobe!

For myself, bringing back Undertaker for his one match a year,Rock, HHH and Brock seems a bit desperate and displays a lack of interest in the current talent.

They only one I get is the Undertaker as they are looking at establishing him with a record to last forever, possibly.

I have been watching this stuff for 30 years now and still never turn it off, pure soap opera!

It just needed something huge. I can't place what, but repeating last years main event, but this time with an obvious outcome, is not it.

It needed character development.

Main event is a part time wrestler against a guy most people despise - and worse, it's a simple repeat from last year.

The other world title has a champion that nobody can get behind as he's a charisma black hole, against a guy who six months ago was losing to everybody imaginable and has only been back in the company a matter of weeks.

Then the third main event is two part timers facing eachother in Lesnar/HHH (and part timer is a generous term).

And then you have the ultimate part timer in the Undertaker taking on the best the company has to offer in a match dreamt up mere weeks before the event.

In years gone by, the main events started building up at the Rumble. But because of the complete lack of faith in the new "superstars", they're relying on patching holes by bringing in the old superstars.

I fully expect Mick Foley vs. Ric Flair to be announced soon...

Very poor card which I won't be watching.

There's one of two outcomes for the 'Mania main event - Cena wins cleanly, or the Rock wins and Cena turns heel by attacking him afterwards or something, perhaps injuring the Rock and vacating the title.

Tubey has nailed it again here.

Except i'd put my house on Cena winning. (I rent though, so you'd need to take it up with my landlord).

I think it will be a 'heroic' win for Cena, with a sub plot thrown in, possibly with a twist at some point.

Rock is about to win, they get jumped by a boringly predictable shield. Bit of a scrap and Cena pins Rock.

Punk takes it to Undertaker for 30 minutes, then Taker pops up with a win.

HHH beats Brock in a hidden razor blades match.

Suprise return at the end by somebody else who retired.

The Rock has signed on to do a number of post-Wrestlemania events including Extreme Rules on May 19th. Maybe we won't be getting the clean Cena win that is expected. Still would put my money on that though...

May as well have Cena win. He and Rock can then do the rubber match.

Question is, what do you do with Cena after this feud? Rock has got Brock to work with. I don't know who you put Cena with. Maybe Ziggler again?
