GOT Wrestle Fest Fan Thread

Just for the record, F4WOnline.com is run by Dave Meltzer, who has been a wrestling journalist for over 30 years and has impeccable contacts. Seriously, this guy is best mates with people within WWE, and goes way back with the likes of Jim Ross, Jim Cornette, Ric Flair, Bret Hart, etc. The movie Wrestling with Shadows was produced with his assistance. CM Punk was having banter with him on Twitter the other week. Meltzer was also employed by Yahoo Sports for a number of years to cover UFC ppvs around the world, including the UFC show in Manchester in 2009. I've known the guy for many years, and even personally met the guy in 2009, and he's a top bloke, and definitely knows his stuff.

We shall see.

So assuming Punk is out of the RR against the Rock, who would be your person to replace him?

Ryback is good but just doesnt look like he can last long in the ring...They should make Heyman replace Punk and use Lesnar

You know Da Meltz, awesome (y).

I really can't see Punk missing the Rumble, he wouldn't have had the surgery if there was a chance of that, unless the injury was uber serious but we'd know if it was.

Punk will be back soon.

I don't mind the idea of a 6 man tag replacing Punk's title defence as long as the Shield are booked to win it, just find the idea of a TLC match with nothing on the line and won by pinfall/submission truely bizarre, and I've watched this **** for 23 years

I don't think the WWE would have wanted to put the shield in a match so quickly this is just what I've read on dirtsheets.

It wouldn't surprise me to see Ryback face someone else, soley to make him look stronger.

Been confirmed by Vince himself mate in an open letter on WWE.com, also gets announced on both Main Event and Smackdown this week, both of which were taped last night

Jesus well that's just awful, The Shield won't and can't win unless Hell No turn hell.

To be honest my favourite angle in recent times (I've seen this about 4 times in this thread) was the Nexus. I though that was absolutely brilliant at the time, it's a shame they couldn't do something similar.

Brings me onto topic, who does everyone think for the Rumble?

I'm thinking either Ryback or The Miz (if he's going to become babyface)

Cena to win Rumble, Rock to beat Punk, Cena to beat Rock at Wrestlemania to regain the title, pass on the torch blah blah blah. Probably the most predictable thing ever and I would be amazed if anything other than this happened.
