too many pubs gone...they were all only as good as the people in them
It's a shame as it used to be a decent boozer in years gone by, full of student nurses from the nursing accommodation in the hospital, which is sadly no longer there. Had some cracking nights in there and in the nursing block after too.

Tiny two room pub, reall fire and a capacity of sixty !
Built in the late 1700's, last refurbished in the early 1900's.
Despite its size it manages to serve an incredible range of beers.
Another pub where the Landlord rules the gaff. He won't let race goers or hen / stag parties in unless by invitation.
I was in this place in Kilburn last night. Being a bit of a construction nerd I instantly noticed the ceiling, but overall the architecture and decor is superb. They had a good little jazz band in there too.
Also went here last night. Ace boozer.
