Following on from the excellent Best Pubs in Merseyside thread :

Post some pics and a tell us about favourite boozers where ever they may be......



The Albert Inn - Just off the curry mile, Rusholme in Manchester .

Classic Victorian corner pub, that used to be a match pub when City played at the nearby Maine Road.

Ale comes from the Hydes brewery a mile away, but the Guiness steals the show.

Real mix of locals, Irish, West Indian and students gives it a real good atmosphere .

Still going strong despite not getting the match crowd anymore .

The Beer Emporium, King St., Bristol.



Subterranean ale cavern par excellence. 24 cask and keg beers on this evening. I'm on Red Sorachi from Gloucester. Absolute stunner of a keg ale.

Keans Head, Nottingham.

A small pub in the Lacemarket which used to be the staff room for the workers. 8 Cask, 6 Keg ales, great traditional food. Massive bottle rang and a good cellar, was drinking a 2011 Cantillon there the other night. Big range of spirits too. Plus excellent, knowledgeable staff.
