Went for a ride this morning but felt rough so only did an hour and half. All this talk of recovery protein and all that, the moral of my story is that the most important recovery aid is sleep. You don't improve in the training, you improve when you rest.
 
Just had a tasteful sesh at the gym. Went on the treadmill for the duration, doing interval training. 20 minutes/2km roughly. Feeling better everytime I run. Take that asthma you turd.
 
Just had an ok sesh at the gym. Ive had a bit of shoulder aids the last few weeks and I cant seem to shake it so I have to sort of work around it.

Did 8x 60kg smiths machine squats. Haven't been doing it long so I'm still working on my form but it's coming along nicely.

Had a protein shake before and after. In your face Wayney!

Haven't been the gym for a month tomorrow, mental block + constant rain + pure laziness.


Back on it tomorrow, new job has an on site gym & massage area......

Don't forget your protein powder sandwiches when you start Bry.

The ones with names like Nitro or Thermo Bio-Synergy 3000 are usually the best ones.
 
GOT Jocks and gym nerds. I've just joined the gym, thankfully it's next door so I don't have to walk far. I'm a bit overweight, bit of a beer belly. I'm 17 stone, and I need to get down to about 15, I'm 6'6 not some massive obese person. I'm pretty comfortable around 15 stone, so I want to get back there. I'm going to meet a super hot French girl at the end of August and I need to be in shape.

So I need some tips to get me back in shape fast.

Any help would be appreciated you muscular freaks. x
 
Lots of cardio. Swimming can be mega boring but it would give you the cardio plus a bit of all over toning. The pros do a whole lot in the gym these days, but you don't see swimmers with bad bodies.

I'm a horrible swimmer so that's out of the question. I've been to the gym for about an hour everyday so far, because of my horrible fitness I do about 15 minutes hill training on the bike, ten minutes on both the cross trainer and the treadmill and the rest of the rowing machine.
