Ha ha! - "Cardio King" is what they all me down my gym here in Kyiv! It's mostly full of local roid heads so I do stick out a bit as the daft Brit who runs every night.
 
I only do weight training cos I simply can't be arsed with cardio, it bores the sh*t out of me, where I get a kick out of doing the weights. Really should do some like, but I can't stand it.
 
You link all sorts of stuff off the internet, studies etc, and present them as fact. I could find you at least five articles now promoting the use of protein shakes (non advertising) and then five articles saying they're sh*te and then five more claiming proof that aliens put devices in people's heads.

:lol: Nowt to do with studies though mate, just read the nutritional label on the side to see how much protein is in a pint of milk vs a serving of protein shake :)

That has 23g of protein per serving.

I've just checked the 4pints of semi-skimmed in the fridge and 1 pint has 21g of protein in it.

The Maximuscle works at out £1.20 per serving. My milk works out at 25p per serving.

It aint rocket science is it? :)
 
How much fat mate, since were reading labels? Double the calories like. Thought you liked that six pack?

That's just one scoop of protein so you can have two if you like. Go on link me a study saying you can only take so much protein etc. I'll bench you.

Being an arl arse I just walk 4 / 6 miles a day, seems to be doing the trick,though I would like to step up my fitness by buying a good rowing machine to help tone my arms and strengthen my back and legs.
 
30 mins run followed by 10 on the rower after work tonight.

Now rewarding myself with chocolate, a banana milkshake (a real, fatt one - none of this protein shake jargness) and Time Trumpet on DVD.
 
Run on Sunday, Swim Monday, Football yesterday...checked my body fat % and weight etc today......

Weight - 10st 3lb
Body Fat % - 12.0%
BMI - 20.4

My metabolism must be pretty good, as I've lost 2lb and 2.6% body fat in 3 weeks. Delighted here.
