To be honest i think he can be great at Everton, he has hunger for the ball, his positioning is great, he has decent skill - we saw from his goal against City he can score some great goals (boss goal), and dont forget he has been playing out of position.

He's a right midfielder, i know a few Plymouth fans and they have always said he's a wide player because he just doesn't have the ability to play in the middle.

I really think you're going over the top because he scored a goal against Liverpool.

He actually played right back for plymouth, and half his games he has played on the left too.

And no, i think he has been more prodictive than Osman has been, and for a 19 year old to do that is pretty good. Ive seen him alot, and his positioning is really good, and he does look like he will be great - imo.

Im not over-hyping him cos of that liverpool goal. I was clueless why it was picked as goal of the season - as tbf it was pretty [Poor language removed] with the deflection.

But for his goal against Liverpool, he would have been anonymous this season. I personally think he is overrated and will be a squad player at best. He has little skill and isnt the quickest neither.

People seem to be writing off the hype due to the Liverpool goal purely because it was against Liverpool.

It really was an amazing bit of skill, brilliant touch, terrific composure and a supreme finish - we'd be loving him for it even if it had been against anyone else, you don't score goals like that unless you're at least a little bit special...

I was chuffed when I read a few weeks ago that he models his game after Cahill's and pays added attention to his movement and style of play - could only be good for him, Timmy's not very skilful and really not all that quick either yet the positioning and hunger seem to be there...

Have to remember he's still very young to be this close to a Premiership starting spot, if we had more bodies, he'd clearly benefit from a season out on loan, but can't see it happening - that'll hold him back a bit, but unless we bring in a heap of players, he'll be playing another bit-part role next season... Reckon he'll come good though.

He'll never be as good as Leon Osman, I know that much.

I can see him being probably about the same ability.

He hasn't got anything distinctive that makes him a class winger...can't beat a man...not exactly lighting...not full of skill.
