Players come & go. Some come for a short time, make their mark, and then think the grass is greener on the other side (Yeah, I'm looking at you Le$cott), others appreciate the opportunity they are given & put in week in, week out, in gratitude for that opportunity.
Some players wear their loyalty on their sleeve & the fans know it & appreciate it. These players, when they do go eventually, are sent off with a standing ovation because they have given their all for the club. I'd love to see Tim retire at Everton & get that standing ovation in his last match, but for the service he has given Everton & the respect he's been afforded, then I would wish him all the best if he moves on now. He's earned the right to make that decision & be thanked by us regardless.
