it looks like cahill may be leaving us to join an arab side.

my uncle has been staying with his parents in australia and they are saying hes wanting to go somewhere to retire. he apparently loves the arabs and is willing to go there.

i think it could be the right time to get rid of him as he has done his best imo.

what are your thoughts?

my mum's auntie's neighbour's cousin's boyfriend walks the dog of the woman who cuts the hair of the teacher of Cahill's kids and apparently he's nailed on to be playing in Alaska next season. Nah, that's not believable either

Oh David, you lighten up my life every single day.

Please, never change.

He needs to go, because he's on a high wage and just offers nothing to our play these days.

But he is a legend -- a genuine one -- and I love the man to bits. That's partly why I want him to go now, so we can look back on his recent poor form as a short blip rather than a stretched out, awkward period that clouds the majority of his career, in which he was excellent for us.

Seconded, totally agree with that.

Father time is catching up with him, we can't afford his wages for a squad player.

Absolutely love him, I'd rather him leave now before the crowd turn on him.

Tim Cahill is a man who epitomises everything good about Everton Football Club.

Passion, desire, commitment and aggression but with class and dignity.

Good luck to him.
do you recall the last home game vs newcastle in 04/05 when he got patted on the back of the head and went down like he was shot. got the newcastle player sent off though so i suppose he thought it was worth it.

For the past 8 years Cahill has worn his heart on his sleeve when wearing an Everton shirt. Not the mostly technically gifted but gives 100% to every tackle. Gave us some very good memories that lad over the years so good luck to him if he does want to go closer to home for a last pay day deserves it for his contribution to the club. Now Felliaini is being used as a more attacking threat in his place I think it is time for the little fella to move on

Will go down as an Everton legend for his many goals against the other lot though

I'l wait for more confirmation than whats given by the op to wish the legend Tim Cahill good luck with the rest of his career .

Nah I don't. That's one heat of the moment thing 7 years ago, though. 99% of players have done something like that.

I think he deserves a winners medal in some form during his Everton stay and it would be a shame to leave before that happens. Still think he still has a few years left in him.
