any body who follows him on twatter will have seen he was besotted with the place(dubai i think) he pretty much layed the foundations for his move then imo with his tweets regaurding the people an loving the sun bla bla bla fair enought he could do no more for us the lad is a legend i wish him nothing but luck

Davek you have me nearly in tears constantly

If he was gonna leave at least he could come to the A league so I could watch him play against Wellington FFS.

Love him, all time legend, wonders for our club. Not just ours though, Millwall too.

Everything I wanted to say has been said already. The man is a club legend for me. It'll probably take his departure for his naysayers to come to terms with that, though.

As unforunate as it is to say, we can replace what he's offered as a footballer in recent history fairly easily. What we won't replace fairly easily is his passion. They don't make them like Cahill often enough.

I won't accept this until it happens, then i shall say my goodbyes. I love Cahill so much ffs :(

Players come & go. Some come for a short time, make their mark, and then think the grass is greener on the other side (Yeah, I'm looking at you Le$cott), others appreciate the opportunity they are given & put in week in, week out, in gratitude for that opportunity.

Some players wear their loyalty on their sleeve & the fans know it & appreciate it. These players, when they do go eventually, are sent off with a standing ovation because they have given their all for the club. I'd love to see Tim retire at Everton & get that standing ovation in his last match, but for the service he has given Everton & the respect he's been afforded, then I would wish him all the best if he moves on now. He's earned the right to make that decision & be thanked by us regardless.

I think that Lescott may have now discovered that the grass is nice and green.

If he goes i'll be gutted but wish him well. All good things come to an end, but in much the same way as I don't get too excited about players coming in till it is announced I am not going to get too down until Tim has gone. Best Evertonian in the last 20 years.

Yes, yes, but outside of a fat paycheque, the Premier League title, and greener grass...what have the Romans ever done for us???

Carefull mate, typing "Roman" on here has jets being scrambled from Speke for an escort, newsnow going down and Nike realising that they haven't got any "Q's" in the Premier League font.

I have always had reservations about Cahill's playing style and the way he has moulded us to play. I cannot, however, fault his passion, desire and important goals. He is undoubtedly the epitomy of a club legend. If he goes I fear he may never return professionally again. Seems like he wants to run his coaching clinics in Australia when he retires to give other Aussies what he never had. Fair play to him though. He will be missed by all. If he goes I hope he has fun in the sun with his barrels of cash.
