I hope he is but having one striker worthy of a top half team (that I have never seen play) does not fill me with confidence. But what if Barry is amazing?
Btw I think we need starting RB and LB too !!

In which case ….. oh dearNeed a lot more than that!
Think Barry isn’t gonna be all that myself anyway.
It shows the work still to be done: we would need at least 4 players to make it a worthy PL squad in terms of numbers meaning a left back, a midfielder and 2 wingers.Manager : David Moyes

Patterson ~£11mIt's interesting to see which players have gotten the minutes thus far, and when.
It appears Moyes has been giving the below every opportunity to win a spot, with varying levels of success:
Patterson
HarrisonARMSTRONG
Iroebugnum
Chermiti
Of those four, to me only Harrison has had a decent showing. I think in the last match, he was pushed around a bit in the center of the park. He could be a loan option, or he sticks around for cup matches and adding strength, maybe loaned out in January if he's not getting enough match time.
Patterson has had time at RCB, RWB and RB. Still the same player. Don't see, at this point, how he's a part of the squad, I think he's squandered any chance he's had.
Iroebugnum has gotten a good look as well, and he just looks slow in his decision making. I don't know if a loan helps, but it's obviously a part of the squad that needs strengthening.
Chermiti gets garbage time on the wing, I don't think there's any hope for him sticking around.
All of the above is dependent on incomings, obviously. But I feel like he's given 3 of them above a real shot to earn a spot, and two of them definitely have not.
