Don't forget he also bought and played all his number 10s simultaneously, managed to lose and draw games to a bang average Italian team and one of the weakest sides in the europa from Cyprus. Plus he managed to alienate the players to the extent they effectively stopped playing.

He basically made the whole year a write off for Everton in a matter of weeks, after spending 150m, thats not bad luck that's just doing very badly in your job in my view.

I'd hope we're going more leftfield. Wenger tends to only discard those on the wane, playing up for a move, or who weren't quite up to it. He's been a decent premier striker, but perhaps not the best current investment.
