Hmmmm only want hungry players who want to prove themselves, not past their best bench warmers for the top 6 thank you.

At the start of the season I`d have said yes, as he`d have been the main man and things may have been much different with our results.

Unfortunately, he`s not the type of striker we need right now.

I'm not sure about the loan thing, he doesn't want to come (or his wife doesn't want to come) I think we have to move on to players who want to come here and are committed to playing for Everton. Either; Benteke, Slimani or Gameiro

Dont think he's a Big Sam type tbh... not happening

No room for common sense posts on this thread lad.

Not convinced he's an Allardyce type player personally but otherwise could see it happening. He'd need to kick up a fuss for Arsenal to let him go too.

a 6 foot 4 big strong experienced centre forward who is great in the air to win knock downs, your right doesnt sound like an Allardyce player.

I hope he realises he made a mistake in the summer and decides to comes here. He needs game time and we need a striker.

if there was any chance he would come it's a no brainer. He's lack of game time at Arsenal doesn't appear to be affecting his int call ups though so why would he leave?

Loan would be ok, he would fit nicely until the summer.

I'm not keen on giving him a contract though, another year older and wasn't happy to come in August.

Arse fans cant stand him for the most part. Meant to be the definition of a big time Charlie, fond of life's finer things and not keen on breaking sweat for the team. Not sure he'd fancy a transfer up north..

Yes, never particularly impresses me.

NEA if he comes here or not.

The new Mikael Madar.

And for that, I shout loudly, "NO!" and gesticulate so that he understands.

To be honest, now BFS and his cronies are here, I'm open to all sorts of 'interesting' characters turning up for Everton with their colourful pasts being dragged behind them.

Not sure Giroud is the player you're describing though mate. Yes he's big and he's good in the air, so in theory he could participate in this long ball game. But I've never seen him play that role, either for Arsenal or France. Plus I reckon Allardyce may prefer somebody pacier up front so he can play a counter attacking game. Guess we'll see soon enough.

Maybe because Arsenal & France dont play long ball in their tactic.
Kevin Davies & Andy Carroll both lacked pace, yet they were Allardyce favoured.

I think hes an Alladyce player
