I think he benefits from comparison to Trump as well as not having Cheney and Rumsfeld constantly in his ear.

Is right.

I see the way Obama speaks about him now and I recall him sitting with the mother of a greviously wounded soldier alone, without aides, for 15 minutes as she absolutely unloaded on him then saying he deserved it and I can't help but think he was a man greviously underqualified for his job, advised by maniacs and dealt a a hand most presidents would have struggled with.

I have a lot of time for him these days and, again, I never thought I'd say that.

I feel like I just went through 6th grade history lesson in 98 pages on a GoT thread lol.

A minority of cops being racist murdering scum is just the tip of the iceberg - if you want real change you need to unite the masses and start bringing meaningful change to how life in the USA is for those outside of the entitled which yes covers a massive amount of black Americans and other ethnic minorities.

Maybe in time the slogan will broaden but the last thing you want is the slogan to be hijacked and it become a black vs white thing as nothing ultimately will change as its just the elite sitting by letting the proletariat play off against one another.

The Black Lives Matter movement existed first. It was created to help Black People be recognised as equals.

All Lives Matter was created to undermine this, even though not All Lives are at risk of racial discrimination.

The issue of the unequal division of wealth and power intersects with the racial issue but shouldn't be used to undermine the message that Black Lives Matter.
