Well, that is definitely a noose...however the picture they showed the other day looks a bit different.....also it’s in a different garage...something not right here.....

What's not right is the fact given the testimony of eye witnesses and a bloody picture you still don't see it.

What do you need to be convinced that it may actually be in bad taste and in fact a noose?

Should they hang someone from it to see if it works will that satisfy you.

Anyway even in that picture it looks a bit noose like and it is definitely not the normal knot used in pulley cords on garages. If that's their method its unusual.

Don’t get your knickers in a twist. I stated quite clearly that the picture posted by Legs was a noose. No equivocation. I merely said that the image and the garage was not the same as the ones recently published, which to me seems a bit strange, but evidently not to you......

They already said it was different to every other garage. So the pictures you are referring to are those other garages.

The picture legs posted is the first publicly posted picture.

Thing is the ropes and knots on most of those other pictures are also very noose like. Even in that picture you posted. So the idiots posting them are not doing the track any favors.

It means they have a weird possibly racist guy on their staff that they and the right leaning media seem to be going to great lengths to defend.

Given your previous defense off them also you seem to agree with them it was not racist.

It‘s very simple, if the picture of his garage was the one recently posted by Legs, then I believe there was justification for complaint. Not all FBI agents are smart. I doubt they did a serious investigation. They probably asked a few questions and took the word of the tracks owners.

As clearly if they saw the rope in the picture legs sent and dismissed it then they are idiots or like I said straight out of Quantico and green.

Maybe they didn't know what a noose looked like. Who know? Since when do we take the word of a cop or federal agent as being the absolute 100% right finding.

Again the other pictures circulating seem to be off different garages as examples.

i’ll be candid I didn’t really know where I stood on the story given conflicting accounts and I wanted to know a little more . That’s the photograph, it’s a noose . Any criticism or questions has to be pointed towards nascar or the fbi , it seems pretty simple pete .

I think you just agreed with me. The latest photo is undoubtably a noose, the earlier ones weren’t, the FBI were supposed to have investigated it, someone is playing silly buggers.....

I think, I don’t know , the earlier photos were released to show what it was in context and that they were in ‘common usage ‘. However if anything it’s clouded the issue initially and made the actual photo look more stark .

It’s difficult to get my head around any of It unless they’re is a reason beyond my understanding, which seems unlikely in these circumstances.

They said it was there since 2019 and had been used by another driver in that time. So it wasn’t directed at bubba and it wasn’t seen to be a racist act.
The investigation happened because it’s quite clearly a noose and it was found in that garage in the context that it was.
I’m glad they investigated it as it was warranted.
Also glad about the show of unity that happened because of it all.
I don’t believe anyone made a mistake to be honest. I think it was rational to assume it was a racist act in the circumstances. Luckily it wasn’t. but these things need to be taken as seriously as they were in this case. Investigating and finding nothing wrong is the lesser of two evils.

If the new picture is real and correct, there is no issue. I’d be interested in what pictures the FBI took and of what garage. Someone is covering their back here, NASCAR or FBI......

It’s been reported as the genuine photo being released by nascar and I can’t see that they have anything to gain in the circumstances so I’m taking it as genuine .

If you see in my other posts I mentioned it was said they hung it last year.

Also said was not aimed at Wallace.

I mentioned they still.have an issue with a member of their staff and should have owned it to begin with instead of the answers they gave. How they thought even if hung in 2019 it was OK is beyond me

No one is covering anything up. It’s a noose. EVERYONE agreed. It was reported when found. NASCAR got the FBI involved. The fbi investigated and found evidence that it had been there since 2019 and so wasn’t directed at bubba Wallace.
I don’t think anyone can deny that it was serious enough to investigate having seen the pic. And I think everyone can be pleased it wasn’t racially motivated.
No cover up. Some wasted time but worth it given the context.

People posting videos from other garages to show they all have ropes, but not one of these could be mistaken for a noose.

Why that one? Obviously is directed at him whether its recent or old.
