I also watched this video a couple of days ago and read the comments in the video.

Apparently she lives above the store and came outside so they wouldnt set fire to it and burn her alive inside.

What i find bizarre is that shes been assaulted first and then "supposedly" (you cant hear it clearly on the video) used a racial slur as theyre walking away.

If she did say that then im not sure how that gives 3 people a free pass to turn around and absolutely batter her.

Anyone thinking differently just blows my mind.

If they did nothing and walked away then the focus is on her being a horrible person. And I’d have respect for them but because of THAT reaction I personally think what she said is not even worth bringing up. It’s not only wrong but stupid of her giving the circumstances as you said but it all becomes irrelevant to me when an animal picks up a weapon and beats up a girl. In my opinion.

The thing is though and again, I'm not by any means saying what they did is right. But if they walk away, this video never comes out. No one says, oh those wonderful looters stopped and walked away when she said racist things.

I guess my point is, everyone in that video is a bad person.

You can hear her clearly say "move along you little n***ers". Trying to pretend it may not have happened is just denial.

They weren't trying to set fire to the building. You don't need to go inside to set fire to the building.

They were trying to break in to gain entrance to jewelry store that is in the same building they couldn't enter.

Literally everything you've said is wrong here besides what the guys did was wrong.

Look yanks a good lad don’t be so hard on him. He may have supported Liverpool and gave us Evertonians a right stripping down in an act of defending his favourite basketball player. But redemption is beyond no man. maybe he gets them twitter links from his Facebook wall from people that are ignorant. And doesn’t check to see who is posting.

Well i guess that has come out after hundreds of people claimed the woman lived above the store then.

I listened to the video at that time and couldnt hear any language from any of them.

FWIW i believe the woman had no possible way to hurt them other than using a racial slur...she was vunerable in that situation.

Not to say thats acceptable but hardly a balance on the situation.

Do you know if the men been located by the police?

Making the attacker subhuman and infantilizing the victim is rather unnecessary - it is an act that can be condemned on its own.

I (wrongly) assumed you were interested in discussing the topic which you responded to and quoted several people to share my own experience from seeing the video and reading the comments 2 days ago.

Not sure what the issue is here...you can simply choose not to respond.
