Feel bad though, as it looks like more than half the stuff will be cut. I’ve worked with a lot of good folks in that institution, all good-faith actors trying to do good science and fund good science. Crazy that one or two clowns can simply derail US science because they feel aggrieved.

Just as a general rule I wish the Dems would try and start elevating some new politicians as opposed to recycling the old ones. What they’ve been doing for the past decade clearly isn’t working.
