I’m sure Trump will try and make it so. But another corrupt politician is the least shocking news of the week. So no. I doubt it does anything to Harris.
I think there'd be trouble if a bunch of prominent Democrats coalesced behind him and supported him, but that wont happen.
If the Dems play this right, they could show up the GOP by showing how you deal with a corrupt politician in your ranks.
I think the Dem support for Mayor Adams will be conspicuous by its absence. The Governor doesn't like him, the City's congressional reps don't like him, and the City Council doesn't like him, so he'll be flying solo on this one. And most definitely you'll not see Kamala Harris lending her name to his efforts.
