Thought her book reading during McCarthy election was a needless troll but overall her questions of people before her committee seem to have been very good.

However think this was stupid timing for her announcement. Most Californians, including her district, are dealing with savage storms atm and this just seems tone deaf personal politics that could wait a couple of weeks until that had passed.

Even in the purely political realm Newsom announced California budget today so he’s going to be annoyed that she stole some of that coverage. I presume he’ll pretend to be neutral in the candidate race but stupid to cheese off someone who can put such a big thumb on the scale with donors behind the scenes. Porter is already going to have to face headwinds from those who think it disrespectful to Feinstein to announce before she does.

Not suprsingly, they've managed to get the less-educated blue collar types to go along as they pander to the wealthy donor portion of their base. I don't know about the UK, but owners of a gas cooktop in the US are almost certainly overwhelmingly affluent. As a general rule, someone making $30k a year isn't going to even live in a neighborhood with access to any sort of natural gas, at least in my experience. As always however, nobody thinks they're richer than a poverty-line republican.

Gas is pretty common here in California (which is all kinds of stupid given the earthquake risk) but outside here and New York the data would back you up.

It’s probably happened before, but never made a big splash until Trump blew it up with a refusal to return documents leading to a raid. Now you have to report on others.

All still wrong and obviously our classified documents handling needs an overhaul.
I’d certainly be happier with Biden with a mea culpa and then here’s how I’m going to make sure this stops happening.

I just got back from a double shift. It went rather smooth and it would have been a good day if only I didn't have to spend 16+hrs listening to the both sides boner that local and national news is having right now.
