I don't personally believe there will be any success with the fight with contraception because most conservatives believe that life begins at conception and most contraceptives act to prevent the fertilisation of an egg.

However there will be a fight because many believe that contraception is a similar case to abortion in the sense, it can stop a precious life from coming into existence, that alone is enough for many to justify their views.

It is pointless arguing with anyone who agrees with the abortion ruling, in the same way that it is pointless arguing with the pro gun crowd.

What about the marginal cases, where doctors may even disagree about whether an abortion is necessary? You honestly believe this disgrace of a SC decision won’t lead to some doctors erring on the side of avoiding potential prosecution?

This law will lead to women dying. That is a fact, albeit an uncomfortable one for the likes of you.

But since I couldn’t give two shiny ones about your comfort, how about cases of rape or invest? Are you onboard with those victims being forced to carry their abuser’s child to term? Because there are States where right now, this minute, that’s exactly what they have to do.

Or (given that you’re such a fan of living in the past) perhaps you’d prefer they go about things the old fashioned way and just take a tumble down the stairs to avoid that psychological trauma.

I know that it's very sad that rape or incest takes place but in my opinion, it's morally wrong to treat that unborn baby any different to other cases of abortion. The unborn child of a rapist did nothing wrong and deserves a chance. I know its a very bad situation but still.

I know that it's very sad that rape or incest takes place but in my opinion, it's morally wrong to treat that unborn baby any different to other cases of abortion. The unborn child of a rapist did nothing wrong and deserves a chance. I know its a very bad situation but still.

What about the mother? Why should she be forced to spend her entire life with a living reminder of her trauma?

I know the conversation has rightfully centered on women on this issue, but in this specific case, if the rape victim was married, what about her husband? Should be forced to either choose between divorcing her or raising his wife's rapist's baby? Arguing that a woman in that situation should be forced to carry the pregnancy to term is absolutely insane.
