She’s a moron, but calling something a “Peachtree dish” is the most perfectly on-brand thing any Georgian has ever said. Every other street in Atlanta seems like it’s Peachtree Dr, or Peachtree Ave, etc.

This made me feel ill. It feels like they’re purposely sending America back to the dark ages with this stuff. Unbelievable.
I can't think of a more succinct representation of an entire nation.
America is such a strange country. The only way I can think to describe it is like an immature teen with anger issues. They lack the maturity of nations that got their "craziness" out the way about 300 years ago and can't seem to look at their country with any critical thinking or cynicism.
I also find their inability to understand sarcasm very unnerving.
