How shocking that the party who had absolutely no problem with their messiah bragging about sexually assaulting women is now outraged that Biden called a reporter a “stupid son of a bitch” after he had asked yet another in an endless line of pisstake questions that he’s been bringing to the briefings for over a year. Never could have seen that coming.

Another one of their idols infamously told Patrick Leahy to "go ---- yourself" on the Senate floor nearly twenty years ago.

The reporter clearly asked the question with malicious intent. It had an obvious answer, and the reporter was transparently trying to create a "Biden worried about inflation" headline by asking it. If Biden rolls with his hilarious sarcastic answer and then stops, they distort the intent and the headline is, "Biden thinks inflation is a positive thing," playing into the "Biden is senile" line they've been playing.

The problem with the profanity isn't so much the profanity. It's Biden denigrating the reporter's intelligence when in reality the reporter was doing something intelligent, but very cynical. It suggests that Biden either doesn't understand the game (unlikely) or has resorted to defense mechanisms in a siege mentality.

I dont know the background here, but why is this a bad headline? I would hope he is worried about inflation.

It lets them splash inflation all over the front page and subtly blame Biden for it. You're correct that a reasonable voter would not attribute the inflation to Biden, and that they would want Biden to be concerned.

The history of public opinion research suggests that voters broadly (at least in the US) are not reasonable. To be very blunt about it, a broad swath of voters on both sides of the political divide attribute all economic outcomes, good and bad, to the president because they think he has mystical powers with which to produce economic outcomes. He doesn't, but they vote as though he did.

Hence Carville's famous line, "It's the economy, stupid."

Really like the idea behind that law - it’s a much better argument to point to the rampant unfairness that is when someone who gets shot (even by criminals / spree killers) then incurs medical bills on top of that, rather than trying to argue about what the 2A “means”. There’s a lot more leeway for the government too, I mean nearly everything can be taxed.
