I always have my picture taking with ‘strangers’ making a white supremacist hand gestures.
I don’t mind arguing over legality.
But framing that the picture in that way was either *intentional* or extremely naive.

Thats been debunked, both Biden and Trump use that 'ok' gesture. A Jewish chap called Jack Breuer (sp) used it to mimick Trump (who he supported) and it was also a 4chan hoax.
What we dont know is why Rittenhouse used the gesture.
I think its an enormous stretch to say he is a white supremacist based on a photo with strangers.
Also, along with the judge didnt include this Id say theres no evidence to support this theory.
He may well he one--but theres no evidence.
My view is solely that those people (including the president) should be held for account for their actions of spreading lies about a 17 year old through social media, print and television.
I think thats despicable. Now hes been found not guilty theyre doubling down.

TBF that picture is the least relevant thing - as they’ve spent ages arguing, just posing for a photo doesn’t mean you share the opinions of those with you.
However taking the money and support of such types is relevant, especially in the context of that piece they are all whining over (where Rittenhouse was put with them in a sequence of images). Even with our libel laws the defence would be easy; in fact if it happens they will probably end up in the absurd situation of racists funding a legal argument of someone claiming they have nothing to do with racists.

As I stated, I’m not talking about legality. But again, saying it’s an enormous stretch that he’s a white supremacist when he posed with white supremacist throwing a wildly accepted white supremacist hand gesture is deliberately obtuse. Which is setting off massive alarm bells.

The grim thing about this is not that he has gotten away with it. From what little I know of US self defence laws it was always going to be the case, regardless of the inherent absurdity of someone travelling 20 miles with a gun into a live situation just to defend themselves.
