‘The United States has the fourth-highest poverty rate of 17.8%. Despite being the largest economy in the world, the U.S. also has a significant wealth inequality gap. The current poverty threshold in the United States is $25,700 for a family of four. This means that households of four with a pre-tax income under $25,700 are considered to be living in poverty. Some states are more impoverished than others, and their poverty is exacerbated by high unemployment rates and a lack of high-paying jobs.’

Hugely impressed that the Ukraine has a poverty rate of only 1.3% Why aren’t immigrants stampeding the Ukrainian border?
Still comparable with Italy still being worse and this data is from 2016-2019?

Well yes of course it does but the data they report is likely about as reliable as that of North Korea.Yeah, because that dataset is enormous and it takes years to compile. That is the latest data. Does it not seem odd to you that in your source, the Ukraine and China have next to no poverty at all?
Also, comparing yourself favourably to Italy in terms of poverty rates (even though they are still better off) has echoes of when you compare yourselves favourably to Venezuela in gun crime statistics
