I never watched any Tucker Carlson except for 1-2 second clips of him being a selfish, a-hole, white nationalist dog-whistler. But I did sit through the Matt Gaetz interview on his show and it was as weird as claimed to be. To make Tucker Carlson come off in a good light during an interview is a special gift.

I think it’s a silly tool, especially with how it’s used, but I’m curious what your thoughts are on the article below Sassy. I don’t recall any issues with the filibuster being brought up by anyone when roles were reversed. And if it’s bypassed now, you can be sure it won’t be respected if roles ever change again.This is great news for Democrats!

I think nearly everyone who supports the left has been vocal in the past on how its pointless and as a result nothing never gets done.
The problem is that the right will simply use it to block everything. Which in its nature that's not was ever intended..it was to bring the other side back to the table.
When the left did use it they did because the Republicans never wanted to discuss or negotiate anything. Hence why it's pointless to begin with. One side can try to use it as it was intended and the other ignore it. It goes against why it was ever created.
Might as well get rid of it. The Republicans have made it clear that when they have power they don't care what the other side do. So you know what let's have it that way. Tough sh** if your party can't gain seats.
The right drew first blood in their refusal to even talk to the left under Trump.

Any updates on the George Floyd trial? I've read a few articles and it seems very split with left leaning media saying evidence makes him look guilty whereas the right media are saying the prosecution are doing a poor job so far.
