Hopefully this trend will continue as Republican voters are exposed again to the damage our democracy suffered because of Trump's election lies and his support towards the mob.

I think this is a bit harsh. He is clearly applying the Goldilocks rule here. $600 is too little, $1400 is too much. $1000 is just the right amount of emergency money (as long as you don't buy a TV or shoes)
