What Abrams did was nothing short of exceptional. I'm not surprised the Republicans didn't foresee it because it was a monumental effort on her part. The only tools Republicans have are vote suppression and gerrymandering, if elections were just on popular policies and the actual will of the electorate, Democrats would win every time.

Don’t remember the server, just recall there were a lot of very long lines.

Thankfully those didn’t happen in Nov or yesterday, presumably all the early voting really helped.

The 1876 election he and others keep citing could not have been decided without the GOP conceding that they'd formally end Reconstruction, pull federal forces from former Confederate states, and allow them to "redeem" the South via white supremacist violence against American Blacks, reducing them insofar as possible to a renewed state of powerlessness and servitude.

Not only is that a breathtakingly [Poor language removed]-stained precedent to cite in the 21st century, given its explicitly racist particulars, it's also a false equivalency, in that House Democrats are just waiting until the process gets to the point where they say NO DICE, CHUMPS and confirm Biden's victory.
