Breathe, chica.
Haha, I know right. I'm so ready for elections to be over for a while, and for our elected officials to really spend time and resources helping people getting out of the mess our country finds itself because of Covid, instead of campaigning. It is just disgusting the amount of money that was spent on these races in GA when people are starving in our country. I know it was necessary when you are fighting against the Republican money machine, I have donated money towards it but I'm ready to spend my cash in other causes. I just hope all this effort was worth it.

I don't get how in modern politics you vote a split ballot in something like this to be perfectly honest.

I also haven't researched this closely enough so is there some issue that either the Ds or Rs are split on that could justify it?

It may be painful but it is always worth it.

Perdue is a sitting senator who had already won a senate Georgia seat, Loeffler was a “temp” installed by the governor ( like McSally in Arizona) and they don’t have the incumbency advantage of people having already voted for them in the past. Also Loeffler in the primaries ran this ad which probably put a dent in suburban support.

I know the incumbency bump is a thing that favors Perdue but it just confuses me in this race in which I feel like the stakes are at a point where it is essentially do you want Ds or Rs? And yet it is split for some folks. Just strange to me but voters are never rational.
