Voting for two people you know are willfully spreading gross and dangerous disinformation, let alone encouraging others to do it, seems a very odd thing to do.

I’ve seen some of Loeffler’s speeches but not much from Perdue. What’s he said? Kelly seems like she’s been programmed in a lab.

EDIT: Just saw he’s encouraging the objection as well.

Any chance it’s actually called tonight or will it drag on again? I’m not gonna watch at all if we don’t expect answers for days.
Given how close it is forcast to be, and the absentee votes may be counted up until Friday (saw something like 17,000 overseas potentially eligible) I doubt we’ll get any confirmation tonight.

The polls are set to close at 7 p.m. ET on Election Day, and that’s when ballot counting can begin. Absentee ballots must be received by the close of polls to be counted. Military and overseas ballots postmarked by Tuesday and received by Friday will be counted, and absentee voters also have until Friday to fix any problems so their votes can be counted.

No ballots, including absentee ballots received in advance of Election Day, can be counted until the polls close. But a state election board rule requires county election officials to begin processing absentee ballots — verifying signatures on the outer envelope, opening the envelopes and scanning the ballots — before Election Day. That should speed things up on Election Night. Still, some absentee ballots received by mail or in drop boxes up until 7 p.m. on Election Day will still need to be processed.

What brings you to this prediction?

Just a feeling really, but I think Loeffler is so bad she's offputting to "middle ground" Republicans who could stay away from the polls for her.

Plus, to be blunt, I think Warnock has an enthused black base due to Abrams, which Ossoff won't benefit from in the same way, and Loeffler won't get the enthused female vote in any way shape or form. Demographics are a real thing.

I think Georgia still leans mildly Republican overall, just a gut feeling, so I think Perdue - by being quiet and having Ossoff as a fairly "milk toast" opponent - will just about get over the line.

I can't see comfortable wins in either race though.

BUT... I say all the above as by no means an expert in Georgian politics!
