They won’t — normal people ie, ‘none nerds’ won’t even know/care that it’s being backdoored
They have already had a massive privacy leak with the Cambridge Analytica scandal, yet ask most facebook users about it and they look at you with a blank stare.
They are totally oblivious and dont particularly care as long as they can post pictures of their new wallpaper, document 24 hours of their day and update their 'friends' with tonights tea recipies.

It definitely made the news on NPR yesterday morning. Not a top headline but got some coverage. No sign of it on cable news tho.

I've had the chance to visit jolly ol' several times and while London was exactly what I expected, I had a client out in Oxfordshire and was blown away by folks like the taxi drivers speak about how "Trump seems like a good bloke" etc. I kept my mouth shut while he was in control of my safety LOL
so you nativers, is that the norm? I didn't think we were that far out into the rural parts
