I find it mind boggling that anyone could tweet this, never mind a former gov, candidate for POTUS and father of the white house press sec, and almost 10k liked it. The GOP is so badly broken.

Unfortunately since youtube changed their recommendation algorithm from what I'd like to see to what they want me to see, I get non stop rogan recommendations no matter what. However, it did lead me to this and I might add David Pakman has the patience of a saint as he chats to intelligence void joe rogan

The next great US President would be Michele Obama...I'm lobbying her every chance I get and pleading with her to run. She is the only hope to save America.

Genuinely wish he realised he was at odds with the politics of working class Evertonians

What does working class even mean to you? I'm working class, in that I work for a living and didn't have much growing up. If you knew me, you'd probably think I was middle class though. My politics are right wing, does than make me a scum bag to someone like you? A sellout? A rat? I mean, my mum was a dinner lady, dad was a car mechanic, we lived on a council estate. That's what working class used to mean, now it's a broad term to describe anyone who can't afford the latest iphone

And btw, I live in America now, people here like Bill follow sport to get AWAY from poltics which is why the NFL/Kaepernick protests pissed so many people off. Just so you know :)

This is such disingenuous pile of crap. People didn't like Kap because much of America has this patriotic complex and he went against that as a way of bringing attention to his issue. That his issue highlighted the mistreatment of minorities made it even less acceptable to white America. This sports is an escape excuse is just a way to criticize a legitimate protest without having to tell on yourself and reveal the real problem that you have with it.

I'm not sure you have seen his posts over the last two years or followed his twitter if this is what you believe. Do yourself a favor and read the tripe he has posted be it some of it here or his twitter stuff. He is a hateful person who gets his kicks trying to get one over on those "libtards". He doesn't have a message other than hate to a certain political persuasion.

Kaepernick's protests only peed of people in certain areas and states of the US. Most everywhere else couldn't care less and acknowledge his right to protest.

The history of the anthem in American Sports is contentious anyway especially football.

The military (all branches) have used tax payers money to spend on advertising and in particular specific events at sports venues before, during or after a game.

In baseball for example those lovely Military appreciation games they have on Sundays used to be called family days. They changed it as the MLB and the teams found out that it was more lucrative. Even if the fans are sincerely clapping and appreciative of those in attendance who serve the team that invited them see it as a cash cow.

I live in San Diego by the way and the Padres have profited from their military events. They don't give them free seats they get paid to "invite" the military servicemen and women and they give them the worst seats to boot.

Also in America through its history there are many examples of politics and protest based on rights in sports.
