Can't comment on either of the last two posts as I don't know enough. I think Trump is a joke and I think Hillary is not even funny. America is in the same boat as the UK. No serious potential leaders in either of the two main parties.
Clinton, although not my choice in the primaries, was clearly a better choice for president. I still cant fathom how anyone stood there and cast a vote for Trump to become president. The longer this goes on, the more sure I am that I made the right choice voting for Clinton.

Without trying to be disrespectful too you, i dont get then why you would make that point. Especially about a random article you cannot remember where you saw it or who wrote it. It just feels like you used that statement to take a pop at Clinton by saying she would have been just as bad.

In your own words you dont know anything about whats going on or know enough about the current situation etc...

What type of response were you looking for? Or expecting?

Sure clinton might have been bad but were are way beyond the "well we could not have done any better". It's a cop out to justify trumps actions by claiming Clinton would be as bad or worse especially two years later.

LITERALLY the ONLY positive for the last couple years could be BECAUSE she didn't win. If Hillary won a) STILL wouldn't have those SC justices, b) would probably be brought up on impeachment by now, c) apathy would STILL continue and d) Republicans would still destroy states because of C.

There's really no ACTUAL positive, just a slight "not the worst case scenario".

Yep. About halfway between San Antonio and Victoria. I assume you are in the former?

Blessing, TX is another small town I lived in.
Very nice place San Antonio. Extremely friendly people and great food and drink, not to mention the city having its fair share of US history attached to it. I enjoyed a very pleasant three days there last year.

Not sure about the SC... would have been interesting to see even someone as morally vacuous as Mitch try to come up with reasons not to confirm the likes of Garland for a new Dem President.

While we have no idea how she would have done
it's likely she'd have vetoed Kavanaugh and likely Gorsuch too.
Plus she'd have improved ObamaCare
Not given huge tax breaks to the 1% and most likely kept the economy going.
Not shut the government down over vanity projects,
not imposed arbitrary Muslim bans
not have incited and condoned far right hate and murder,
and on and on.
Having a woman as POTUS would have been another huge step forward as opposed to the massive step back we've taken.
Her foreign policy would have been the only question but I don't think she'd be any worse on Israel, Saudi Arabia and North Korea.

She'd have been responsible for nominating the potential Justices, so we'd never have even heard of either of those individuals.

I was wondering how McConnell would have reacted when she nominated either Garland again or someone more to the left.
